Pocketed Coil Springs

Pocketed Coil® springs. A Beautyrest® original since 1925. Our Pocketed Coil® spring is the GOLD STANDARD to judge other inner-springs against.

The unique feature that distinguishes a Beautyrest® mattress from the competition is our system of individual Pocketed Coil® springs.

Each coil is made of high carbon steel, pre-compressed, and then placed in a pliable, durable, non-allergenic fabric pocket.
In assembling the mattress, the Pocketed Coil® springs are not joined at the top or bottom of the coils like ordinary mattresses, but at the side of each fabric pocket. This allows each coil to adjust individually to the weight and contour of the sleeper’s body.

It allows the surface of the mattress to follow the changing profile or shape of each sleeper’s body, providing undisturbed rest as he or she moves during the night These pocketed coils also conform to the unique shape of your body, each spring responds individually to weight shifting on the sleep surface so you get support where you need it, including the lower part of your back.

Pocketed Coil® springs also help reduce pressure points on the body

Beautyrest coils are durable and they Provide extra resiliency and support. Each coil is pre-compressed before being placed in its pocket to create a desirable supportive tension. Beautyrest coils retain the shape of the mattress for the life of the product.
